Product features
Foaming nucleating agent plays a role of self nucleation in plastic foaming products. The mechanism is similar to the diffusion and ordered distribution of supersaturated gas in polymer melt. In addition to the carrier resin, its main components include more than two kinds of foaming AIDS, as well as foam stabilizers, activators, nucleating agents, antioxidants, dispersants and so on.
The foaming nucleating agent has the characteristics of stable and uniform dispersion in the insulating material. The high-efficiency dispersant in the carrier resin has good compatibility with the matrix resin. With the help of the shearing and mixing of the screw, it can spread rapidly in the polymer melt, thus promoting the nucleating agent to form evenly distributed hot spots in the polymer melt, reducing the surface of the melt locally Tension and melt viscosity, so as to achieve the purpose of fine foam. After adding foaming nucleating agent, the processing temperature of the insulating material is no different from that of the insulating material itself, and the extrusion fluidity of the material is better.
Physical Foaming Nucleating Agent is specially designed for easy incorporation into insulation raw material compound for processing Physical Foaming Insulated RG series coaxial cables. The compound consists of base resin and more than 4 kinds of other supporting agents such as Stabilizer, Activator, foamable antioxidant and expander. When used correctly, it allows the formation of small, uniformly distributed cells.
While the exact temperature profile required will depend upon the screw design and construction being made, the following extrusion temperature profile represents a good starting point:
Feed Zone : 140 ℃to 150 ℃
Transition Zone : 170 ℃to 180 ℃
Gas injection point : 170℃ to 190 ℃
Metering Zone : 140℃ to 170 ℃ (depending on insulation diameter)
Crosshead and die : 130℃ to 190 ℃ (depending on insulation diameter)
